POA ANNUA CONTROL OPPORTUNITIES Early PRE
Select and apply one preemergence herbicide. Early PRE applied alone will not provide full season Poa annua control. Apply before Poa annua germination.
Early POST
Select one preemergence herbicide and two postemergence herbicides with different modes of action. Apply after Poa annua germination and before Poa annua tillering.
Apply two postemergence herbicides with different modes of action. Use high labeled rates. Late POST should not be relied on as a stand alone option. Poa annua becomes more difficult to control as it matures. Apply after Poa annua tillering. Ensure desirable turf is fully dormant prior to application of non-selective herbicides.
