Nematodes Nematodes are a growing but often undetected pest problem in turfgrass throughout the United States, especially on low-mowed greens or other areas under stress. Nematodes often enhance root diseases confounding diagnosis and control. Nematode assays can help determine the type of nematode present and whether they are a concern. If current symptoms are validated with high nematode populations, curative applications of Indemnify should be made immediately. Consult your local area sales manager for specific timing and re-application interval. Re-applications will depend on the level of nematode populations/ damage. For courses where nematodes are not a major concern but wanting to be proactive with nematode management, apply Resilia ® root health solution at 4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. A total of four applications can be made per year. For resistance management, consider including other MOAs for nematode control. For courses with a documented history of nematode damage, consider the following:

Snow Mold Although many fungicides are labeled for controlling Microdochium patch and snow mold, Envu Stressgard ® fungicides are long proven to provide excellent control, plus faster green-up and healthier turf coming out of winter. Interface ® Stressgard, Mirage ® Stressgard, and Tartan ® Stressgard are an effective array of active ingredients and can be tank-mixed with additional modes of action in products like PCNB, Secure ® , or Daconil WeatherStik ® to further improve control of snow mold. Densicor ® or Fame ® are also highly effective as a primer application 2-4 weeks before the final snow mold application and/or in the tank mix in the final snow mold application for the year. Including Proxy ® with the final snow mold app will also improve consistency and degree of control of annual bluegrass seedheads next spring. The Envu program below has a satisfaction guarantee and if your expectations are not met, please contact your Envu Distributor or Envu Area Sales Manager. Indemnify 0.39 fl. oz.
