PSP: Apart from your DJ career, what else can we expect from your brand over the next few months? Matt Elle: I recently enrolled in a Music Production Academy, and my goal is to expand my brand from DJ to producer. Over the next few months, I aim to focus on creating music and expanding my reach in the international market.
PSP: How do you prepare for your performances?
Matt Elle: Music is at the heart of my performances, so I spend several days sourcing music from various platforms like Traxsource and Beatport. Once I have the music, it's all about practice and allowing creativity to flow. Deciding the flow and journey of the set can take hours. Sometimes, I record a set and play it back to ensure I'm happy with the progression and transitions, even trying to mix in key whenever possible.
