Built to the highest environmental standards The building utilises the latest techniques in cremation and clean air technology to prevent pollution to the air and surrounding environment. Low level energy efficient lighting minimises light pollution from the site and a green sedum ‘living’ roof provides additional habitat for wildlife. A sustainable heating and cooling solution is used throughout the Crematorium building, reducing its energy demand and environmental footprint. We also have six electric car charging points for our visitors to use.
