BOURGET | An official plan for the future economic and community development of the village of Bourget may become a reality early in the new year. The only question in the minds of some is how far should the village core boundaries extend? Clarence-Rockland Planning Director Mi- chael Michaud presented the city’s plan- ning advisory committee with a summary of the work to date on developing a Bour- get Official Plan (OP). Michaud noted that one point that came up during a recent public information ses- sion on the draft was that the village core area identified in the proposed OP seems too small. There is a suggestion to extend the core limits south on Champlain Street as far as the LCBO store. This would include what
