Revolutionising the usually hidden world of industrial valves and actuation may not spring to mind when discussing innovation, but The Smart Actuator Company Ltd (SmartAct®) of MalvernWorcestershire has done just that. This family business, which is the sixth fastest growing company in the Midlands, has not only applied new innovative thinking to UK based manufacturing of these products but also brought both energy e cient technology and smart technology to this mature industry sector.
