A highlight of an incredibly successful year, automotive and aerospace quality management experts, G&P, were awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2016. The company, which helps manufacturers and their suppliers around the world improve quality, e ciency and pro tability, received the award in recognition for its innovation in the creation of its Quality Excellence Model. This proprietary model enables high-value manufacturing organisations to manage complex supply chains, control costs and deliver the right product rst time, every time. Improving quality, reducing waste Established in 1994, G&P works closely with many of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. More recently it has expanded its services by applying its innovative approach to the aerospace industry which faces similar challenges in managing the production of high quality, safety critical components across a complex supply chain. Indeed, such is the success of G&P’s approach that it helped the company’s manufacturing customers reduce their levels of waste by more than £2.5bn in 2016 alone. Growth and inspiration In addition to its Queen’s Award, G&P’s innovative approach and resulting levels of record growth led to it being honoured with a number of other signi cant recent accolades. Most recently and for the fourth year in succession, G&P was named by the London Stock Exchange as one of ‘1,000 companies to inspire Britain’. G&P was one of only a handful of companies in Britain to have been named in the report for the last four years. It was also listed in The Sunday Times’ prestigious Fast Track 100 and International Track 200 reports, which recognise the UK’s fastest growing private companies.
