YOU LEAD WITH YOUR SMILE When you go out and about, don’t you want to look your best? When you look your best, your self-esteem increases, causing you to be more confident. When people look at you many times, they don’t look into your eyes but maybe your forehead or off to the side. Most of us were not born with straight teeth. Some of us had our teeth aligned when younger but, like a salmon, over time, they have reverted back to an earlier state of disorientation while others may never have a beautiful smile.
Think I’m wrong? Quickly, what’s the color of your mom’s or dad’s eyes? Even worse, what’s the color of your mate’s eyes? See what I mean? Generally, people don’t notice your teeth unless they are uneven. Then, they’ll notice and wonder that although you put yourself together fine, you missed out on the obvious. Yes, your front upper and lower teeth. Posterior teeth are in the cave so are generally not seen. All life interactions are some form of selling, so looking good, including having good-looking teeth, can only make it easier to get what you want.
Today, right here in our office, we can reposition your teeth invisibly with clear aligner therapy. You may have heard of it — it’s called Invisalign. No one will know except you and me. The time goes by quickly, and once started, it’s a five-minute appointment every six weeks, and very quickly, your new pleasing smile will appear. Since you pay over time, it’s affordable for all of you in my practice. You’re never too old to start, and if you’re above ground, it’s always a great day, and if you don’t think so, just try missing one of them. We
all have special occasions where you’ll be the center of attention. Pictures are a self-reality check, and with a full attractive aligned smile, you’re going to feel a whole lot better — quickly, affordably, and painlessly with no dental injections or drilling involved. If this is something you want to explore, let me know next time you’re in. You, your teeth, and those you interact with will be glad you did.
UP AND DOWN AGAIN
With the completion of the Q subway line and the pandemic over, something is definitely happening here on the Upper East Side. What’s that, you say — well, there are multiple ongoing construction sites. Our area is soon going to get a lot more crowded. Or maybe not if the buyers are all offshore and just looking to purchase a piece of Manhattan. Let’s see how good you are at knowing you’re in the Upper East Side. Are you looking up, or as most New Yorkers do, are you looking down and stepping lively?
Here’s a helpful hint: All photos are from 72nd to 86th Street between First and Lexington avenues.
