Carter has been a guiding light for students for an impressive 23 years. In that time, Carter has positively impacted the hearts and minds of countless young learners. Thirteen of those years were spent right here at Shelby Schools, and Carter’s commitment to education has left an indelible mark on the community. Carter’s journey in education has primarily been focused on the early years, nurturing the minds of kindergarteners and first graders. However, this year brings an exciting twist as she takes on the role of guiding her former first graders who are blossoming into second
