We run BETC Travel and Tourism Award which is a vocational course. The course offered is an optional subject and is available for selection through the options process in year 8 and then in year 9 to be studied at Key Stage 4. The course progresses onto the higher level of Key Stage 5 taught at Bitterne Park Sixth Form and links to similar courses at other colleges. There are many opportunities to develop workplace skills when studying this option as well as going first-hand experience through working within the tourism sector. We work in partnership with Paultons Park, Beauliey Motor Museum and many other local organisations to create a meaningful learning experience for each student. In choosing to study Tourism students will broaden their knowledge of the sector and deepen their own personal learning thinking skills.
