The mission, goals, and expected program outcomes are consistent with relevant professional nursing standards and guidelines for the preparation of nursing professionals.

Assess for congruency between all college and program documents (syllabi, catalog, handbooks, and current literature). Assess student outcomes and topics against national standards and guidelines. Copies of professional nursing standards and guidelines used by the program (listed in handbook) National guidelines table mapping concept through curriculum. Program advisory board meetings twice a year. Program advisory board members and faculty review and discuss.
See June 15th, Advisory Committee meeting minutes. The mission, goals, and outcomes for a generic (hybrid) BSN program were reviewed. Differences between the new BSN mission and the ADN generic mission were discussed. See November 12, 2021, faculty meeting minutes – the mission, goals, and expected student outcomes were reviewed and found to be relevant and aligned with professional nursing standards and guidelines.
