This was discussed at 6/15/23 advisory board mtg The nurse administrator and director of education reviewed and updated the handbook related to faculty expectations and responsibilities and is reviewed each term. A new form for clinical was introduced at the dec. 23 faculty mtg to give to and share with sites by clinical instructors regarding student skills and goals. Faculty participate in program governance through faculty meetings, Outcomes Committee meetings, and Curriculum Committee meetings. (See all minutes) Students participate in program governance through participation in course surveys and end of program surveys this year, some from each program are invited to attend the advisory committee mtg as well.

expectations, responsibility to attend in-services and number of professional development activities, following policies, participation on college committee requirement for full time faculty, and attendance guidelines for students in clinical updated in the handbook. Full time faculty are expected to participate in all faculty meetings, part time faculty are encouraged to attend. As faculty are hired and complete orientation, they are assigned to either the Curriculum or Outcomes Committee depending on their preference. Part time faculty may also participate. See faculty meeting and committee minutes for list of faculty participants.
