Additionally, this building will house 1 simulation lab with high fidelity manikins, EKG's, monitors, and beds for simulation. All inventory required for the nursing program will be housed at this campus. Faculty offices will mirror the same layout as the Portland campus, which includes individual private cubicles with doors that close in each faculty office space. Additionally, the campus will have a separate conference room for faculty to meet with students privately, or to hold faculty meetings and trainings. All faculty and staff offices will house computers for each FT employee, and a faculty area for PT to share computers when on campus. All computers have printer and internet access, and access to the network drive. The campus will be open for students Monday through Friday from 7:30AM – 6:30PM. The campus will utilize the Canvas learning management system to deliver content online and provide course information, student support, announcements, resources, the LIRN online library, syllabi, access to the student handbook and catalog, and other tools to enhance their education. Asynchronous courses will be taught fully using the Canvas system. Zoom and on campus courses are also supported through the Canvas system. The Canvas learning management system and online library are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
A full-time clinical coordinator maintains the affiliation agreements with clinical partners and coordinates the clinical and practicum experiences for the nursing activities.
