Faculty Observations – Faculty are observed while teaching annually. The observations are scored level 0 (never demonstrates competency) through 5 (demonstrates mastery of competency). There are a total of 20 areas where faculty are observed while teaching. The average score must be a 4 or Proficient level (demonstrates most aspects of competency). Student Surveys – Students are provided with surveys at the end of each course. Aggregated faculty data is reviewed for overall student satisfaction. The scores range from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). The overall score of aggregated data for student satisfaction must be at a level 4 (agree) or above for overall positive experience with the instructor. Annual Faculty Evaluation – Faculty receive an annual evaluation. They are given ratings ranging from 1 (does not meet expectations) 2 (meets expectations) to 3 (exceeds expectations).
