Graduation weekend is a special time for your student. The weekend begins with an End of Year Celebration Concert on Friday evening, August 1, and concludes after the Graduation Ceremony which is at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning, August 2. Students are free to leave after the Graduation ceremony. We would encourage you to come and spend these days with us at the Conference Center. Reservations can be made at 727.379.5000. Financial obligations must be met prior to Graduation. No transcripts or certificates will be given if there is an outstanding account. Instead, a blank certificate cover will be handed out during the ceremony. HEALTH CENTER We have partnered with United Concierge Medicine (Telemedicine) to provide healthcare via telephone for our students. There are also walk-in clinics located within 10 miles of the Bible Institute in Hudson, Spring Hill and New Port Richey. In addition, there are several hospitals in the area. When the need arises for students to visit the doctor or hospital, they are encouraged to contact their parents / guardians to inform them of their condition and treatment. Due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Word of Life cannot make that contact nor force the student to do so. INSURANCE Student Accident Insurance is included in semester fees for all students. This is a mandatory policy regardless of any other coverage they may have. If the student has other medical insurance, it serves as a secondary policy. The policy does not provide coverage for accidents that occur while: a. Using skateboards, longboards, razor scooters and variations thereof. b. Committing or attempting to commit a self-inflicted injury.
