Le pavage de cette section de route aura lieu au printemps prochain. Le cout du projet de 1,87 million de dollars est partagé entre les gouvernements fédéral, provincial et municipal. – Gregg Chamberlain RED PINE PLANTATIONS The red pine is the trademark tree of the Larose Forest, located between the Village of Bourget in Clarence-Rockland and The Nation Municipality. The tree has an average lifespan of between 100 and 150 years, and many of the red pine plantations in the Larose Forest are near the 90-year mark and becoming more susceptible to disease as they age. The United Counties of Prescott-Russell, which manages the community forest through its planning and forestry department, will focus now on steps to support the growth of younger generations of red pine to maintain the Larose Forest red pine profile.– Gregg Chamberlain

Personne n’a été blessé. Le service des parcs et loisirs de Hawkesbury possède une analyse de l’état des toits du Complexe sportif Robert Hartley, de l’hôtel de ville et de la Bibliothèque publique de Hawkesbury. Cette analyse s’inscrit dans le cadre de la surveillance régulière des installations municipales dont le département a la charge.
