Dear Ranchers, My family is forever thankful for your interest and support of our breeding stock program. We thank you for allowing us to work with your operations and participate in this challenging and incredible industry. The mission of our families operation is to focus on the production of superior phenotypically balanced cattle that possess as much genetic merit and marketability as our environment and practical management will allow. Our growing season for the summer of 2025 was without question the most ideal that we have ever experienced and most likely will never duplicate. Our moisture was consistent from the beginning to the end of the grazing season allowing the cattle to never be without high quality grazing. Every class of cattle went into fall as heavy as we have ever had. The calves were weaned October 1 and acclimated to their growing ration with ease. The cattle in the offering have been on the same growing ration for the duration of the feeding period. Our yearling Angus bulls and heifers offered are primarily sired by Baldridge Badger, Baldridge Gibson, SAV Magnum and SAV Charisma. There are also a number of exceptional bulls out of our resident herd sires. The females that we are offering are right from the heart of the replacement pen and represent the design and balance that we are striving to create and maintain in our female battery. Most of the females we are offering are either the direct daughters of our donor females or are granddaughter’s to the majority of our donors. The entire offering will be marketed in an “Online Only” Auction event through DV Auction which bidding will open on the morning of Monday May 11th and bidding will close on the evening of Tuesday May 12th. If you have never participated in this type of format before we are hopeful that buyers will find this version of marketing less stressful and user friendly. The format allows customers so much more buying flexibility and control than the traditional public auction model. In addition, the online format allows us to operate within the limitations of our own infrastructure here at home and will be considerably less stressful on the cattle. New this year, we will be hosting an Open House at the ranch west of Belle Fourche for anyone interested in viewing the offering. The event will be Friday May 8th between the hours of 1-5 pm MST. All of the cattle selling will be on display. The cattle may also be viewed at anyone’s convenience anytime at our ranch west of Belle Fourche prior and during the sale event.
