APEGA Nexus
Keeping our annual conference online gives registrants access to a nexus of fresh perspectives.
The APEGA Nexus virtual annual conference on June 4 and 5 gave registrants across Alberta—and the world—access to professional development sessions on topics such as artificial intelligence, the Professional Governance Act , professional ethics, and Indigenous relationships. Under the theme “Advance & Aspire,” we gathered a collection of speakers and APEGA subject matter experts into six streams. Presenters addressed relevant industry topics and thought-provoking issues that informed and challenged attendees. “We also launched a new members-in-training- focused stream this year, with a new pricing structure for university students, which showcased sessions focused on the transition from student life to work life and the importance of networking,” says APEGA’s career development manager. “We are looking forward to expanding these offerings and welcoming more members-in-training and students to APEGA Nexus.”
