Solbian Flexible Solar Panels Solbian Energie Alternative Srl was founded in 2009, following the success among professional sailors of the innovative SolbianFlex photovoltaic module developed in 2006 in collaboration with the CNR for Giovanni Soldini’s Class 40. A product that combines high-efficiency monocrystalline cells laminated with special thin, light plastic polymers with high chemical and mechanical resilience.

The company’s goal is to produce innovative photovoltaic panels in order to expand the scope of their applicability to sectors where lightweight, flexibility and efficiency are fundamental requirements. The characteristics of these flexible photovoltaic panels allow the production of energy from the sun, wherever there is a need, even in extreme conditions: marine, electric mobility, caravans, trekking and in special building- integrated architectural situations. All Solbian panels can also be made custom to order, so if it doesn't exist, Solbian can create it. SP Series The SP series is at the top of the range, thanks to the use of Maxeon back-contact solar cells, able to convert up to 25.5% of sunlight into electricity. The electrical contacts hidden on the rear of the cell make these panels especially pleasing in appearance. Maxeon back-contact cells represent the most advanced technology on the market, and make the SP Solbian panels the highest- efficiency flexible panels. Flexible, powerful and robust, the panels of the SP series are recommended for all installations where maximum reliability and power are required, and they remain the most iconic symbol of high quality photovoltaic modules. They can be used in all situations and are a best seller in marine applications.
