Skinner en est à sa première participation aux séries éliminatoires dans la Ligue cen-
trale et est appuyé de son acolyte Andrew Tucci, qui a effectué 22 départs cette saison avec Hawkesbury. Le 11 mars, Skinner a remporté le premier duel face aux Bears de Smiths Falls, mais a cédé sa place à Tucci après seulement neuf minutes lors du deuxièmematch, après avoir cédé trois fois sur huit lancers. Tucci a gardé le fort de main de maître par la suite, en route vers un gain serré de 5 à 4. Selon le directeur-général desHawks, le retrait de Skinner lord du deuxièmematch n’était pas en lien avec sesmaux de dos et il demeure à son poste dans l’alignement.
