This winter adventure offers you the opportunity to hook-up and drive your own dog team on a 10-mile guided dog sledding trip through the trails of Northern Michigan. Nature’s Kennel, Michigan’s premier dog sledding destination, is owned by MSU alums Ed and Tasha Stielstra. Enjoy a bit of winter splendor with a trip to Tahquamenon Falls State Park where naturalist and MSU alum, Theresa Neal, will lead you on a snowshoe hike to the falls. Finally, join MSU alum, Steve Tchozeski, of Great Lakes Geoscience and learn about the geologic formation of the U.P.’s shoreline as you explore the Eben Ice Caves and ice formations of Grand Island National Recreation area.
