BILL RETURNS TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
I just came back from an interesting trip to Skyline Elementary School in Harrisonburg where I visited Mrs. Van’s room full of fourth graders. Gigi, our skeleton came along and boy did she make a commotion! All down the hallway students came out of their classroom oohing and awwing at the site of the skeleton rolling
My hat is off to Mrs. Van and her band of mighty little ones that continue to learn in today’s world. I realized when I was there, I was looking at me sitting there many years ago. These kids are our future and we all should invest some time and effort into helping them become tomorrow’s citizens leading this world of ours.
ARTWORK AT THE OFFICE It is important that we as health care providers help informothers regarding good information and this is one way we have continued to give back to the community. Each student was given a diagram of a skeleton with some of the names of the bones left blank. We reviewed not only the names of the bones but also their function. All in all, it was a great hour spent planting seeds with kids that were eager to learn. Appalachian Physic l Therapy, Inc. “Always Getting Better” Artist Open House Featuring Local Artist Bruce Dellinger Presented by Appalachian Physical Therapy down the hallway with pink socks on her feet. I got lots of questions about her pink socks and why she was wearing them. The answer of course was she had cold feet.
So just to see if you are reading this, we are having a little contest. The question is; what are the functions of our bones? There aremany and I need to know at least ten of them. Email your answer to email@example.com by May 10th to be considered. Correct entrants will be eligible for a drawing for a $20 gift card which will bemailed to the winner.
