The two Drifter 2.0 daughters that make up Lot 104 strongly resemble one another. They are both feminine in their makeup and super soft. N89 goes back to the 331A cow family. By this time you are probably familiar with 331A because she shows up in a lot of our pedigrees. N89’s dam goes back to Basin Payweight Plus 6048. We were so satisfied by his calves that we decided to implement him in to our Red Angus program, as well. N104 doesn’t have an outcross pedigree like N89, but she comes with some more old school genetics. She is double-bred Basin Trendsetter 45S5. If you’ve been in the Red Angus breed long enough you definitely know who that is. Some of our best cows go back to Trendsetter. Drifter 2.0 is a full brother to Drifter. There will be a strong showing from him in the 2027 sale. 2.0 himself was the high-seller in our 2025 sale selling to Bousquet Farms. We think that the 2.0’s are going to make even better females than Drifter himself. He has excellent claw shape with a good level hip, soft made and easy keeping.
