N15 and N92 go back to Ground Sow A112 who was a very productive donor in our program. Her name speaks for itself given that these girls are some of the easiest-keeping and biggest bodied on the ranch. While she was in our donor program, she predominantly threw bulls so we do not have a lot of offspring from her. The females we do have out of her have been elite. N92 is out of a bull that we used from Mushrush Red Angus called Eneko. He is a bull that consists of high caliber calving ease, carcass traits, STAY, ProS, and Herd Builder--everything that you want to make a female. On top of that she ranks in the top 40% in 14 traits. Her half-brother was a high-seller on last year’s sale. N15 is sired by TAC Strategy J288 which is an F63 son. If you look through the bulls and heifers you will see a lot of F63 influence. N15 has 10 traits in the top 40% of the Red Angus breed. Whatever choice you make on these two, it will be a good one.
