An example of exporting to new Excel sheet 1 Prepare measurement results either by measurement or by opening an existing program containing run results data. 2 Press the Data View button to access the M3 report data view. 3 If desired, use exiting template editing techniques and data filters to prepare the data for export to excel. 4 Press the Direct to New Sheet export button from the bottom toolbar. 5 An instance of Excel will open and the data will be transferred to a new spreadsheet within the workbook. An example of exporting to a custom Excel sheet 1 Prepare measurement results either by measurement or by opening an existing program containing run results data. 2 Press the Data View button to access the M3 report data view. 3 If desired, use exiting template editing techniques and data filters to prepare the data for export to excel. 4 Press the Export Menu button from the bottom toolbar. 5 Select the item “.XLXS” from the export menu. The custom Excel Export dialog will be displayed. 6 Press the Workbook button from the bottom of the dialog and browse for an existing Excel Workbook file. 7 Select the desired target worksheet from the Target worksheets dropdown menu. 8 Set the desired formatting parameters in the Custom Export dialog. 9 Press Done to complete the Excel Data transfer operation.
