Initiate Edit Mode To edit a part program: 1 Load the program file as explained earlier if necessary. 2 Press the Edit tab at the top of the Feature List to display the detailed view of program steps and the Program Edit toolbar.
Change Program Properties To edit Program Properties: 1 Press the Program Properties program step to display the Program Properties dialog. Press drop-down boxes and make selections to satisfy the needs of your application: • Allow program editing : No to lock out program edits • Linear units: Default linear units • Angular units: Default angular units • Search zone: Sets the default VED edge finding zone, in pixels, for measurements in program playback. Applies to all VED measurements. • Times to run: Set the number of times to run the program. • Disable playback guidance: Yes to disable graphic guidance for manual users • FOV playback mode: Yes for field of view systems (video only, no encoders) • Multiple parts in FOV playback: Yes to measure multiple identical parts in the FOV • Max runs: Limit of runs in the runs database (push-down stack) • Permanent fixtured: Yes to designate permanent fixturing for CNC system •
View at end of playback: Replace default (Home) view of tabbed runs results database with different view upon program completion • Next part to run: Shows a part program filename of a saved part to be run after the current part program completes executing. The assignment is done by pressing the Link Part button. • Stop playback on tolerance failure: Yes to stop executing the program if a feature fails tolerance. • Palletize button and check box: Press the Palletize button to create a pallet. Check/uncheck the check box next to the button to enable/disable the pallet program execution. •
Link Part: Assign a saved part to be run after the current part program completes executing. The part program filename appears in the Next part to run field.
2 Press Done to return to the Feature (program steps) list.
