Advanced Edge Teach
The Advanced Edge Teach (AET) can be used to fine tune controls to the video measurement process, improving edge collection results in complex imaging scenarios. The Advanced Edge Teach dialog provides a more detailed look at candidate edges and provides feedback of the candidate edges detected. Detection of low contrast, narrow, and difficult to image edges is improved with graph-based control of contrast, material direction, and edge width. Advanced Edge Teach mode can be used in conjunction with any of the existing M3 VED probes.
NOTE Advanced Edge Teach mode can be used in conjunction with any of the existing M3 VED probes. This mode is OFF by default. It can be enabled by navigating to the Video Settings screen in system Settings screen, then setting the “Use advanced teach” flag to “Yes”.
