Global Variables: A variable can be created to persist for the duration of the application cycle. This variable is referred to as a Global Variable. The purpose of a global variable is to pass information between programs that are run in an application cycle, hence, only survives for the duration of the application cycle. A global variable name must begin with G_ . To define and set a global variable: 1 Define the global variable as you could any variable but with the name prefixed with G_. 2 When prompted, enter the value in program playback. 3 Record another program using the global variables defined in the steps above. 4 Notice the global variables carries through the second program.
