The Multi-Dimensional Challenge In Teleworking
Policies and procedures need to be revised to address the challenges and will include the legal aspects, as well. The employee on the other hand, needs to know how to manage time well enough so as not to compromise both work and personal commitments. The low-touch economy will grow as we are induced to build in social distancing and new hygiene practices, and employers will need to look at separating between essential (employers who need to physically be onsite) and non-essential employees. In any case, the reset button on working from home has indeed been triggered, and we will need to go with the flow and make working from home, work for us.
