The program realising Sustainable, Development Goal (SDG) on Health and Well-being; Peace, Justice and Strong Institution; rather rhetorical claim and myth. Principles on Artificial Intelligence- the first international standards agreed by governments for the responsible stewardship of trustworthy AI was adopted by OECD in May 2019. The OECD Principles on AI include concrete recommendations for public policy and strategy to ensure that they can be applied to AI developments around the world. The newly launched OECD, AI Policy Observatory aims to help policymakers implement the AI Principles. Value driven and humane AI technology development becoming a global agenda for safer planet with tremendous new job opportunities. This agenda requires high level human creativity and compassion, in which still a far fetch for AI. After all, AI despite its brute computational power, is nothing near like the human brain who can control the intelligence of its operations. The architecture of AI (digital computers) is different from the brain. AI is a learning machine of some sort, whereas the brain is a collection of neurons that constantly rewires itself every time it learns a task. If one removes a single transistor in the digital computer’s central processor, the computer will fail. However, if one removes large chunks of the human brain, it can still function, with other parts taking over the missing pieces.

CASE STUDY

As in any global crisis, people are prone to panic. Daily experienced and studies show that emotions greatly influence consumer behaviour. Cognovi Labs, an alternative data provider, uses artificial intelligence to measure the emotions of a population and evaluate consumer emotions and intentions in the United States. Cognovi Labs data contains insights about how people feel and what they will do next. The data focusing on emotions toward a variety of targets, including the general situation, a whole generation of people, and various retailers and consumer goods. Marketers can appeal to these emotions in targeted advertising, expressing understanding and concern for consumers’ well-being. Social effects of COVID-19 are also manifesting with relation to specific retailers. Cognovi Labs data shows that while people support the closure of Macys stores, aggression is growing towards Michaels, which did not close its stores, promoting instead pick up services for crafting and school supplies, for example.
