The millions who died in the Nazi holocaust have not been for gotten by Christian people, and there are many upon whose con sciences this tragedy still rests painfully. It is true that some atrocities in the past have been committed by some in the church, but there are many in the church who have spoken out against these evils as a violation of the spirit of love in true Christianity, and who have contributed to the res cue, resettlement and rehabilita tion of thousands of Jews. God’s eternal love for Israel is abun dantly delineated in the Holy Scriptures, and for many Chris tians this is an article of faith. Throughout its history, the na tion Israel has been the object of opposition and attack by Satan, the arch-enemy of God’s purpose and program. Untaught and un holy men have unwittingly co operated with the devil in this. These men included J. Oliver Buswell, Lewis Sperry Chafer, Charles E. Fuller, Harry A. Ironside, A lva J. McClain, William L. PettingiU, and Louis T. Talbot.
