OUR PROVIDERS: The two doctors that comprise Sandpiper Medical Associates, Inc. both completed their residencies in Ormond Beach at approximately the same time. Although not originally from the Central Florida area, both doctors decided that this is where they wanted to stay and establish their practice.
Dr. Miller, originally from the Midwest, was over 30 years of age when he chose to pursue a career in medicine. His goal is to help and care for others. It took a lot of personal sacrifice for him to attend medical school while in his 30s, and then go through residency before setting up practice in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Dr. O’Donnell had a very similar career path. She was a registered pharmacist in New Jersey when she too had an epiphany and decided to become a doctor. She attended medical school in New Jersey, completed her residency at Florida Hospital - Oceanside, in Ormond Beach, and joined Dr. Miller at Sandpiper Medical.
Both doctors operate independent practices here at Sandpiper Medical Associates, Inc.
