LCC FOUNDATION HOSTS 3RD ANNUAL WINTERFEST By: Amanda L. Nelson, Marketing & Events Coordinator, Luna Community College/LCC Foundation Luna Community College Foundation’s 3rd Annual WinterFest, held on December 6, 2025, was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a great cause. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, alumni, vendors, and supporters, this year’s celebration was not only full of holiday spirit — it was also a major success for student scholarships. Because so many donors stepped up to provide food, supplies, and raffle prizes, WinterFest was able to operate successfully and support multiple Foundation initiatives. WinterFest generated approximately $3,900 to benefit the Foundation’s efforts, while the motorcycle raffle generously donated by Hank Blackwell raised $3,600 exclusively for student scholarships. Congratulations to Amy McFall, the lucky winner of the motorcycle raffle! Together, these efforts will help fund scholarships for up to 20–30 students this year. The Luna Foundation is incredibly grateful to the businesses and individuals who helped make this possible by donating food, supplies, and raffle items. Special thanks to our community partners including O/X Ranch, Coca-Cola, Lowe’s, Super Save, Quality Care, Direct Health, Magnum Welding, Toro Loco Welding, and Luna’s quilting class, as well as the many alumni and local supporters who contributed raffle prizes, experiences, and handcrafted items. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to the vendors, many of whom have been with us since the Foundation’s very first WinterFest in December 2023. Their creativity, energy, and commitment bring the event to life each year and are helping shape WinterFest into an emerging community tradition . They consistently show up with incredible products, festive spirit, and a genuine passion for supporting Luna and our students — and WinterFest would not be the same without them. Most importantly, we thank everyone who attended, purchased raffle tickets, and supported our 3rd Annual WinterFest. Your generosity directly impacts Luna students by helping them afford tuition, books, and other educational expenses — and by removing barriers that might otherwise stand in the way of their success. Because of you, more Luna students will be able to stay enrolled, stay focused, and continue building their futures! Dec. 15, 2025 Partnering with 38 vendors and the community, the Foundation raised funds to benefit student scholarships

Thank you for believing in our students and for helping us turn community support into real opportunities! – LCC Foundation
