Granite Bay Dolcissimo is the result of years of breeding for quality black alpacas with pedigrees that will reproduce their color. Dolce’s dam, Granite Bay Agent 99, is one of our cherished foundation females who has excellent reproduction and produces lots of milk for her crias. I don’t doubt that these traits will be passed down to Dolce, who boasts a beautiful pedigree from some of the best and well-known names including Snowmass Satin Reserve and Snowmass Mr. Sizlin Rose as grandsires. Dolce’s sire is none other than Red Granites Innsbruck, who we lost recently to cancer. Dolce is a gorgeous female with a perfect bite, eye-catching phenotype, and buttery soft and uniform fleece. She was named because her personality is sweet. The females in this line are awesome moms and the kind that allow you to sit next to them while holding their newborn crias up to nurse for the first time. Dolce’s fleece is getting better as she grows and knowing her family line it will continue to get better and retain fineness as she ages.
