SAFETY NOTE
Avoiding scalding For a relaxing and comfortable shower and to avoid scalding, GROHE recommends the use of a thermostat. For particular environments, (hospitals, schools, care and nursing homes) it is extremly important that the outlet temperature of the water can be limited to a maximum of 43° C. The Grohtherm thermostats for shower and bath are delivered with an appropriate temperature stop to limit the temperature. In shower facilities in kindergartens and special areas like nursing homes, it is recommended, that the temperature should not exceed 38° C. In these cases we recommend the Grohtherm Special with a specific ergonomic handle for better grip and additionally it enables easy thermal disinfection.
Applicable standards (e.g. EN 806-2) and technical rules for drinking water are to be taken in account.
