RISK MANAGEMENT PRESENTATION
SUPPORT LIST RESPONSES V013063: Operators with losses in excess of retention, if the loss involves a late report to NIIC. V013063:
We have several layers of protection and corrective actions in-place to prevent this type of event from occurring again: 1. We have established an “Out -of- Mode” (OOM) inspection process at all company owned sites, this is a bulk trailer inspection performed by a trained member of management or their trained designee, in which the quality of the wash and dry cycles are inspected with photographic proof on-file when a trailer is destined for a product or formula which is different from the previous load. 2. We maintain a list of segregated trailers which do not comingle with our inventory of standard/regular trailers, this prevents cross-contamination. 3. The Wash Techs at all company-owned wash stations are trained quarterly upon our established conversion wash procedures. All washes are required to be a complete breakdown of all components. 4. The stable of “Ready” trailers follow an established process guided by both the Wash Checklist and the Wash Ticket. The final inspection is signed by three groups, Wash Tech, Dispatch and the Driver. 5. All Drivers are trained upon a Pre-Load blow-down process to make sure the trailer holds no estray product.
