UNDERWRITING COMMITTEE AGENDA
MISSION The Underwriting Committee is charged by the Advisory Board with the responsibility of assisting National Interstate in selecting and evaluating new participants, strategies for growth and program structure. The committee is responsible for generating the general underwriting guidelines to be used for the program. It is also the duty of the committee to monitor the underwriting performance of all participants to the established guidelines and refer to the board for any corrective action plan, if necessary. The committee may also recommend new underwriting guidelines or categories of risk to be underwritten.
