helping clients with real estate transactions and explain- ing the risks and benefits of selling/buying contaminated property in New Jersey. Also, I value the work friendships I have developed and couldn’t imagine my career without them. Tell us a little about your family: I have three amazing chil- dren, ages 19, 15 and 9. If you are the primary caregiver to your children what obstacle and chal- lenges do youmeet on a day to day basis? On August 22, 2011, my life changed in an instant, when my husband of 20 years was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and my family’s en- tire world was turned upside down. Fortunately, I worked with incredible people who allowed me to not only be his caregiver but his advocate, while I continued working as an environmental consultant through it all. We were a force to be reckoned with as he en- dured five years of treatments, surgeries and setbacks. On September 6, 2016, I lost my best friend and found myself in very unfamiliar territory: I was now a single parent. I desperately wanted my old life back, with a partner to work with and share parent- ing responsibilities. Becoming the primary caregiver was not a choice: I had no options, so I did what any parent would do--rise and conquer. The big- gest obstacles I encounter are meeting the kids’ needs while maintaining a home, budget, cars, lawn…. And work. As noted earlier, I love what I do! Looking back on these past three years, I am not sure how I have done it, but I know my husband is smiling down on me saying….I told you so! What outside activities do you enjoy during your free time? I spend most of my free time following my children’s sports: football (both college and pee wee level), cheer, wrestling, and lacrosse. 
