ing machine to the Delaware Valley, located in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Carvana is a virtual change agent in how consumers buy pre-owned vehicles buy offering pickup and delivery services. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? I always had a genuine curiosity in being able to have a part in shaping the communities we live, work and play in. By assisting retailers and developers in the decision-making process of opening new stores and shopping centers, we (brokers) play an integral role in creating the environments for people to interact, shop and live together. What challenges and/or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to become as successful as you are today? Being young in the brokerage real estate business- it’s an industry where knowledge and experience are our most valuable assets. I had to learn and adapt quickly to earn the trust and rapport with high value clients. What was the most defining moment for you? We pitched and won my first master brokerage program in 2017 to represent the largest growing family entertain- ment park in the country – Urban Air (30-80k s/f). I won the territory to represent them in 17 states in the Northeast-Mid-Atlantic region. In the past two years I have completed 20 deals with them with another 50+ in the pipeline to date. What outside activities do you enjoy during you free time? I enjoy playing, watching, and coaching sports- I play soccer and have coached youth lacrosse. I am a Philadelphia sports fan. I am an avid biker (both on the road and on my Peloton). I enjoy craft beers and a good burger. 

few years in these centers we have done a dozen deals from great regionals to strong national tenants. It has been a great experience to watch the retail market grow and become a desirable market. How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? The retail commercial real estate industry is a small world and your reputation is a large part of your business. No matter what I am working on, I always try to maintain a positive attitude and be pleasant. People are more likely to help you and make deals happen when they enjoy working with you. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? I worked in a marketing department and was looking for a career change. My uncle worked in commercial real estate and encouraged me to look into the business. After interviewing at a variety of firms, I landed at Metro Commercial in 2012. I chose retail commercial real estate broker- age because I loved how multi-facetted you get to be. You work with so many professions from landlords to marketing teams to architects and engineers. The brokerage business allows you to be creative and can be tailored to work towards your personality. What unique qualities and/or personality trait do you feel makes you most successful in your profession? Resilience – this industry is filled with many unknowns and changes, so being able to keep my emotions in check no matter what the situation has been a valuable asset. A veteran in the business toldme “cool heads prevail” and I remindmyself of that when times get chaotic. 
