Beachwood Youth Boys Basketball League Director: Frank Vicchiarelli Leagues will be divided into grades 3 - 4 and grades 5 - 6 teams. Shirts will be provided. Please note that the Recreation Department DOES NOT provide insurance. Leagues will operate on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday or Thursday evenings. A complete schedule will be handed to the players once the season begins. No player requests for basketball. Limited Enrollment: 48 max per league Boys Grades 3-4, December-March Games on Sunday afternoons between 12:30-4 PM. Beachwood High School, South Gym Boys Grades 5-6, December-March Games on Wednesday or Thursday nights at 7 PM. Beachwood Middle School Gym Fee: $75 Resident | $95 Non-Resident
The Beachwood Wrestling program has produced many champions at the state and national levels. Our program is designed to introduce the sport to beginners and to develop the skills of the more advanced wrestler. Our program stresses physical endurance, techniques, agility, balance, building self- confidence, a positive mental attitude, commitment, teamwork and good sportsmanship, while having lots of fun. The Elite program is a member of the Ohio Youth Wrestling League which features several different dual meets, tournaments and exhibitions to allow all wrestlers many opportunities to compete. Wrestling singlets are included in the fee. Sunday matches will occur beginning in December. Programs begin with clinics to teach fundamentals and evaluate players for placement on teams. Teams will practice together and games will begin with Beachwood teams as well as other communities starting in January. Games played on Thursdays or Sundays and played both in Beachwood and in other communities.

Rookie Coach Pitch Baseball Instructor: Jump Start Sports
Players will receive instruction in all basics of the sport, and will apply what they have learned in fun games. The games are non- competitive and no score is kept, but hits and outs will be recorded as they are in older coach pitch programs. Players who are not able to hit a pitched ball will be able to use a tee while learning. Ages: 5-6 | Session Length: 6 Weeks Location: Hilltop Elementary
Beachwood Recreation is proud to partner with the Beachwood Board of Education and the Shaker Youth Soccer Association to provide this quality soccer program in our community. One weekly practice and the option between a Saturday or Sunday game encouraging skill and tactical development. There are no tryouts and we strive to provide every player substantial playing time. Players are also given the opportunity to play in different positions.

Hoop Stars Basketball Instructor: Jump Start Sports An instructional and recreational basketball program where players are taught the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, positioning and rebounding. Teams are coached by Volunteer Coaches who are overseen and assisted by our Director of Operations, Doreen Katz, and our
