Have you ever wanted to learn to guitar but simply find it difficulut to find the time? In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment, and you won’t have to take private lessons to do it. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. If you’ve always wanted to try woodworking, this is your chance. You will start with basic safety, followed by a demonstration of how to properly use various hand tools and power tools. You will have a chance to practice with each. After breaking for lunch, you will return to the wood shop to work on a small project to put your knowledge to work. The limited class size will allow for plenty of individualized attention from your instructor. You will finish the day with a completed project to take home. Ear protection is recommended. The safety workshop is included with this class. There is a $30 materials fee payable to the instructor, check or cash.
