King's Business - 1920-10

THE K I N G ’ S BUS I NE S S by doing things that please them. We can please Jesus by being in His house on Sunday morning at Sunday School, by obeying father and mother at home during the week, and by showing a sweet Christlike spirit in our actions. Now we can not please Jesus unless we have given ourselves to Him, and have asked Him to forgive our sins and help us every day. Just going to Sunday School and being baptized will not save us if we have not given. ourselves to Jesus, and believe in Him. Closing Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus we ask thee to forgive our sins, and help us to do the' things that are right and pleasing to thee. . tcmgi left their nets, and followed him. “ This is my beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased.” Let us all say these words together. Now John the Bap tist knew that he had done right in bap tizing Jesus, for God Himself said Jesus was His Son, and that He was well pleased with His Son Jesus. What a wonderful sight this was to see Jesus standing and the sky open above, and God’s voice speaking. This showed to John the Baptist and all the people that He was God’s Son, and that God’s Spirit was with Him, and then God’s voice telling that He was pleased with Jesus. Now Jesus pleased His heavenly Father, and if we love Jesus we too will want to please Him in everything we do. We show our love to friends here on earth
