Lightbourne emphasize the importance of properly managing and securing chap- ter funds, as well as the importance of projecting a positive image of the men of Kappa Alpha Psi ® on campus and in our communities. With every organization the goal is to expand and bring in as many mem- bers as possible. This upcoming fall, if approved by the Southern Province, the Epsilon Mu Colony plans to participate in the Membership Intake Academy. The Epsilon Mu Colony has held two interest meetings early in 2018 and both meetings were filled to capacity thus indicating a substantial desire for Kappa among young men at the University of the Bahamas. In addition, we always look for the best candidates to help grow and sustain the chapter. To ensure Kappa Alpha Psi ® remains on the UB campus, the Epsilon Mu Colony must ensure that the standards and guidelines of the fraternity are upheld. Lightbourne (Epsilon 2007). Brother Lightbourne has been very instrumental in our journey thus far and has done a great job of mentoring us on what it means to be men of Kappa Alpha Psi ® and ensuring we conduct out our meetings properly and thoroughly. He has also helped to support our various programs, events and community service efforts both on and off campus. Brother
