Do You Have Friends Or Family That Can’t:

“Now, I am more active.” “The pain in my back is what brought me to Quantum Physical Therapy. My doctor referred me because the pain was becoming almost unbearable. When I first started, I wanted to quit because of the pain. I was encouraged by my therapist to stick it out and continue with treatment. I’m glad that I did because the pain has decreased since starting. Now, I am more active. I began walking to improve my health. When the pain doesn’t decrease with rest, I do some of the exercises I learned in therapy. I have recommended it to some people who need physical therapy and I would gladly do it again. I like the friendliness of the staff. They encourage you when you feel like giving up and they really know a lot. Overall, it’s a very beneficial experience.” - C. H.

Physical Therapy vs Opioids: When to Choose Physical Therapy for Pain Management The use of prescription pain medications, known as opioids, is under more scrutiny than ever before due to a rise in opioid abuse. In an effort to fight against what has been called an “opioid epidemic,” the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) has been urging doctors to recommend other effective solutions for pain like Physical Therapy. The best part is that Quantum Physical Therapy is safe and natural, and does not have any harmful side effects. It not only fixes painful problems, but it avoids other more serious medical conditions and prevents your painful problem from worsening, all of which take more time and money to address.

She iscurrently inherthirdsemesterofnursingschoolatSinclairCommunity College and plans to graduate in May 2019 and pursue her passion as a Hospice nurse.
