Lenses and lighting allow you to see what you want Macro Lens Applications
This type of lens is optically designed for close-up imaging. For example, some lenses can capture objects of only a few millimeters at high zoom ratios. VST macro lenses are designed to focus at certain working distance conditions and capture images with high resolution and no distortion at this magnification. Our lineup has options with either fixed or variable mag- nification. Those products come with a fixed and variable aperture. We also offer a wide range of lenses that are compatible with large area and linescan sensors. About Macro Lenses
Visualization of irregularities in resin materials
We want to inspect large resin materials for scratches and processing conditions.

Recognizing small characters in a wide field of view
We want to recognize even small characters in the corners of the field of view with a single image capture.
Proper imaging configuration
Improper imaging configuration
Imaging with area scan does not allow visualization of surface irreg- ularities.
When imaging with line scan, irregularities can be clearly visualized. Line scan captures a line-shaped image similar to a copy ma- chine. Larger parts can be imaged at higher resolution and lighting can be installed in ways that are not possible with area scans.
Large Format & Line Scan Lenses
With ordinary lenses, small letters in the corners are blurred due to distortion in the four corners of the field of view and lack of resolution.
Macro lenses can capture high-resolution images with minimal distortion in the whole field of view. Even small letters in the corners can be captured clearly.
