The dynamic staging and timely sound effects set the mood as the plot thickened throughout the mansion of Mr. Boddy. A spooky capstone to the month of October was the second annual Night on Haunted Hill on Friday, October 28. The evening featured performances by student musicians in the choirs and bands outside on the Thompson Quad amidst eerie lights and fog, as well as an HDA-produced Haunted House through Lovell Hall. The community art show “Reigning Cats and Dogs” invited members of the Hopkins community to share artworks of their favorite furry friends. Odes to canines and homages to felines filled the gallery walls with works of all media, November 11–December 16.
