My ‘why’ is to help parents raising neurodivergent children — and those who simply know that their child needs extra support — feel supported, empowered, and confident in their parenting. As both a parent coach and the mom of an autistic and ADHD son, I know firsthand how overwhelming this journey can feel. I also know how life-changing it is when parents feel understood, learn how to regulate their own big emotions, and have practical tools that work. Watching parents grow in confidence and begin to see positive changes within their family reminds me why I started this work.” As Melanie continues, “I’m proud to offer this service in St. Thomas, because this is the community my family calls ‘home’.
