Melanie Wallis, founder of Melanie Wallis Coaching, passionately introduces: “I officially launched in the spring of 2026, but the inspiration began many years earlier. For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children and families through education and social services. Along the way, I earned my Social Service Worker diploma with honours, a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Social Development Studies, and became a Certified Parent Coach – but my most meaningful education has come from raising my autistic and ADHD son.” “Although I had years of professional experience supporting children and families,” Melanie expresses, “nothing fully pre- pared me for the joys and challenges of parenting my own son. Over time, I realized that what my son needed most wasn’t ‘better’ parenting, it was a different parenting approach. I realized I wasn’t the only parent feeling overwhelmed, and I wanted to create the support I wish had existed for my own family. That’s why I started Melanie Wallis Coaching; to help parents better understand their child, feel more confident in their parenting, and create calmer, more connected homes.” Melanie Wallis Coaching provides personalized support for parents raising autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent children, as well as families whose children are experiencing behavioural, emotional, or school-related challenges – even if they don’t yet have a diagnosis.
