Hiring and Orientation Policies Communications Regarding Religious or Political Matters
CREA, LLC is committed to respecting the rights of all employees regarding participation in discussions about religious or political matters. In accordance with New Jersey law, the Company may not require you to attend a Company-sponsored meeting or participate in any communications with the Company where the purpose is to communicate the Company’s opinion about religious or political matters. Political matters means matters that relate to an electioneering communication and an employee’s decision to join or support any political party or political, civic, community, fraternal, or labor organization or association. This policy does not prohibit the Company from: Allowing you to voluntarily attend Company-sponsored meetings or providing other communications to you, as long as the Company notifies you that you may refuse to attend the meetings or accept the communications without penalty. Communicating information to you that the Company is required to by law. Communicating information necessary for you to perform your required job duties. Requiring you to attend any training to reduce or prevent unlawful workplace harassment or discrimination. The Company will not discharge, discipline, or otherwise penalize, or take any adverse employment action against you for: Refusing to participate in a prohibited meeting or accept a prohibited communication as described above. Making a good faith report, verbally or in writing, of a violation or suspected violation of this policy.
