presented to an individual who is recognized by the profession and is actively engaged in a private, public, or corporate veterinary practice whose
actively engaged in food animal or mixed practice, public health, nation-building, or food security programs. The scholarship recipient for 2026 will be selected by the Awards Committee and presented the scholarship award at the SWVS President’s Reception on Friday evening, September 18.
